October 2019
Another ribbon for Daisy Walks! My photo of an Ibis settling in for a night's rest won Third Place at the
Indian River Bird and Nature Art Show, an event supporting the Pelican Island Preservation Society.
In 1903, President Theodore Roosevelt established Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge as the
very first wildlife refuge in the United States.

A member of the Daisy Walks team won Second Place for Photography at this year's
Indian River Birding Festival & Nature Art Show for this amazing photo of a very young Night heron.

I was very honored to win a blue ribbon for First Place in the Photography category at
the Indian River Birding Festival & Nature Art Show for my pelican picture.
